Paul LicausiPresident of LS Commercial Real Estate is an experienced commercial real estate professional. He has been active in the industry for over 25 years. Paul founded LS Commercial Real Estate with a focus on Brokerage, Management and Development of commercial properties. He has completed numerous sale and lease transactions throughout his career and has been fortunate to have the opportunity to represent a large client base on project assignments throughout the United States. He is an experienced Developer, having developed over 5,000,000 square feet of commercial property nationally, with an aggregate value in excess of $175,000,000. Additionally, he has structure the acquisition of over 1,500,000 square feet of commercial property which is part of LS Commercial Real Estate managed portfolio.
Paul, in addition to his role as President of LS Commercial Real Estate, is also President of LS Construction Services, Inc. which is a full service General Contractor. Further, Paul is active in a wide variety of organizations including serving on the Board of Directors for Kansas City SmartPort and Southwest Johnson County Economic Development. He is a member of National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), NAIOP Forum Development Group Board, Kansas City Area Development Council, the Commercial Real Estate Council as well as several community non-profit and charitable organizations. Paul is also a member of the Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame and a contributing editor to several trade publications.
Charlotte LaverentzDirector of Property Management; Charlotte has been a long term member of the LS Commercial Real Estate staff (for over 15 years) and is highly experienced in the industry having over 30 years of administrative and facility management experience. Charlotte along with her staff (which include; maintenance staff, security staff, administrative staff, planning staff, etc.), manage a portfolio of commercial real estate exceeding 9,200,000 square feet located throughout the Midwest. Her duties include all aspects of the management process from physical operations to capital projects. In any given year, Charlotte will combined property operating budgets for our portfolio which exceed $5,000,000 annually.
Charlotte is active outside the office with her family and is in involved in local organizations as well.
John SmithDirector of Industrial Real Estate Services; is an experienced sales agent with over 15 years of experience in the industry and has completed numerous lease and sale transactions on behalf of clients throughout the Midwest. He also manages the brokerage staff. Prior to joining LS Commercial Real Estate, he was successful in other sectors including banking, computer services and office equipment sales. His substantial experience in those sectors is a great benefit to the company and his can share that experience as well with his clients.
John is involved with many professional organizations, such as Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC), Kansas City Smart Port, and Southwestern Johnson County Economic Development. He has a long history of community involvement and has held various leadership positions with different nonprofit organizations in the community. He continues to assist many local community organizations and non-profits.
Diana StyersDirector of Accounting and Finance; Diana has been with LS Commercial Real Estate for 20 years. She oversees all finance and accounting functions for LS Commercial Real Estate. She also manages a staff of finance and accounting professionals which is part of the client services division. Diana has extensive experience in the accounting field having spent more than 35 years in the accounting industry. She oversees all aspects of the client services division which includes accounting, financial analysis, project accounts receivables and payables and financial reporting. This division handles well over $10,000,000 of income and expense activity for our entire managed portfolio, Diana has a long track record of success and is a key part of our organization.
Paul Licausi, Jr.Accountant/Financial Analysis; Paul is the newest member of the Client Service Division (Accounting and Finance). He has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. Louis University and a Master’s degree in Accounting from University of Missouri, Kansas City. Paul served as an intern with LS Commercial Real Estate for the last 5 years so upon joining the firm full time he had already established a strong track record of experience. Paul brings and extensive education and strong work ethic to the company, he is responsible for the accounting and finance for several properties within our managed portfolio. He is also involved in the creation of our annual operating budgets as well as capital formation.
Paul is active in alumni associations for St. Louis University and University of Missouri at Kansas City.
Angela LengyelMarketing; Angela joined the company in May 2013. She has a bachelor’s degree from Benedictine College in communications. She manages both internal and external marketing activities for the company. This includes promotional marketing campaigns for properties, project announcements for new development projects and highlights for activities relation to our tenant base. These are just a few of the responsibilities that she is involved in at the company. Angela served as an intern with LS Commercial Real Estate for the last 5 years, prior to joining the firm full time. Upon joining full time, she had already established a strong track record of experience.
Sandy BarnettReceptionist/Administrative Support; Sandy is a valued staff member who has been with LS Commercial Real Estate for over 14 years. Sandy manages all inbound calls coming into the company’s office, supports office staff and assists clients and tenants with questions or information. She is also responsible for file organization and many other office functions.
Sandy is an active member of her church community and is an avid musician.
Leonard LicausiBrokerage and Project Management; Leonard is a key staff member in our brokerage and project management group. He has played a key role in both brokerage and project management assignments. His most recent project management assignments included a 210,000 square foot build-to-suit for W.W. Grainger which was successfully completed in mid-2015 and new 454,000 square foot state-of-the-art distribution center for Hallmark Cards. In addition to his project management responsibilities, Leonard provides leasing, sales and consultation services to clients located regionally and locally.
Patrice WilsonAdministratration Support; Patrice is an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant with over 30 years of experience in office environments and is trained in all facets of office procedures.
Joe ParisCommercial Sales; Joe is a recent graduate from UMKC Law has chosen his career as a Commercial Real Estate Agent to serve the greater Kansas City community. With Joe's legal and finance background, he will be able to provide a unique and valuable perspective to any future client.
